Hi, I’m Clarence Gil. I’m glad you’re here.
I grew up in Catanduanes — a proud promdi with a simple dream:
finish college, get a corporate job in Ortigas or Makati, wear a long sleeve and a necktie, and build a stable life.
I graduated with a degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management, not because it was my passion, but because it was the most practical choice I had at the time. I wanted out of the province. I wanted options.
Like many business owners, my career didn’t follow a straight line.
I worked as a:
-
Hotel busboy
-
OFW service crew in Dubai
-
Medical representative
-
Insurance agent
-
Car sales executive
-
Sales & marketing manager
-
Sales executive
-
Sales became my world.
And eventually, burnout became my wake-up call.
I saw how quickly companies let people go — even managers.
That moment forced me to confront a question most professionals avoid:
If this ends today, do I still control my future?
The answer was no.
So I took my first risk as a business owner.
I launched a small rolling-store business.
It failed.
Within a year, I was bankrupt.
My mother’s capital disappeared.
My confidence disappeared with it.
Still, I refused to go back to a career I no longer believed in.
I tried insurance again.
Failed.
I returned to car sales.
Succeeded for a while.
Burned out again.
That’s when I turned to the internet, not looking for “extra income,” but searching for leverage.
I explored everything: affiliate marketing, eCommerce, virtual assistance, and digital services.
Like many entrepreneurs, I was overwhelmed by information — until I realized something critical:
The problem wasn’t effort. It was lack of clarity.
When I finally focused on one core system — Meta advertising — everything changed.
I earned my first local client.
Then international clients.
Over the years, I’ve managed and overseen more than $2 million in ad spend, launched my own agency, and built a business that now generates more than my corporate career ever did.
But more importantly, I learned how to make calm, logical business decisions under pressure.
That’s what I teach now.
Today, through Digital Homie, my mission is no longer about teaching skills.
It’s about helping business owners:
Think clearly
Decide confidently
Scale calmly
And regain control over their advertising and growth
Because in 2026, the businesses that win won’t be the loudest.
They’ll be the clearest.
